we all know that wes isn't the most gifted athlete on the field. having said that, he is certainly special. i feel that what makes him special is his vision and his balance. he seems to make the most out of every situation. no, he doesn't break one every time, but that is impossible. sometimes the wholes just aren't there. what he does so well is finding the right spot to get as much as he can.
second, how many times in those clips was he hit once or grabbed by the legs but was able to keep moving? he has a great center of gravity. several times on monday he wouldn't go down with the first hit. he makes great use of his hands to keep him upright to. when he starts to lose balance because of a grab, he often uses his free hand to brace himself against dropping that knee.
i certainly hope saban finds room for him on the roster because i would almost guarantee two TD returns this year (punt or kick).
