I likes what we've done so far, however our rush defense is concerning. Last season we were terrible vs the run and we've only declined with the loss of big Paul. I was hoping we'd at least replace one of those two god awful linebackers we have patrolling the field. Is this something we'll target in the draft? Anyone else a little worried about the run d?

I'm worried about or LBs and safeties, but I think we are solid across the line.

I don't see any improvement in the team's run defense unless the LB play improves significantly. Delmas might help a bit if he can stay healthy? But what we really need is a linebacker who can diagnose a running play and actually get there to stop it.

I think improved play calling from DC will help.....stop freaking stunting the DL so much..they stunted out of position alot last year.

We on the bright side if teams are running it well they won't be picking on Taylor and Davis.

Brandon Spikes is available. He is great in run defense. He is slow, but his instincts always bring him to the ball quickly.

I dont see any improvement with any FA moves for our D. Names changed but not production. Fins still havent done squat to IMPROVE the D over last year, nor have they done squat to improve the running game. So I dont like our run D nor our run O right now. And please dont mention BAlbert. He's a pass blocking LT whose job is to "...protect Tanny's blind side...". Not road grader blocking for the run game. This is found at the OG position and w having a power runner, which we dont have.

Improving the offensive line will actually improve our run defense. Too many 3 and outs last year resulting in facing 4-5 more running plays per game.
The average per run was just about the same as the previous year. Just way too many attempts against this defense.

If our linebackers tackle better the run defense gets a lot better in a hurry. It's not like the d was getting blown out, guys were in position to make plays and just didn't.
