Tis' the draft season. So in honor of this event I would like to start a thread.

In your opinion,

What is the worst moment in fins draft history?

and

what is the best moment in Fins draft history?


I like to think the best moment in Fins draft history is when we drafted Dan Marino, and the worst would have to be when we chose ginn Jr. in the first round. :lol:

Well we traded down and took Avery after Moss but if we stayed put who knows what we could have done with Moss maybe Super Bowl

Jamar Fletcher with Drew Brees still on board was worst draft pick.

Best moment Dan MArino late first round
 
I am changing the question. My most recent, wtf, run to the Mel Kiper book moment is when Dallas Thomas was picked. He had no business going at that spot. Will Davis was a close second.
 
Picking Jason Allen. Not sure who else was on the board but I remember thinking, "WHO!?!?"

a lot of really nice players on board when we took this another injured type drafted on pure potential and nothing they had done
 
I'm modifying mine to "best moment/WTF? moment" as follows:

Best: Not hearing the name "Brady Quinn"
WTF? Hearing the name Ted Ginn

Ted Ginn over Willis, Fletcher over Brees so dumb. Eddie ****ing Moore. Waste, Avery waste, cecil Collins.

What about Boldin. Did we have a shot at him? I thought we did.And blew it. Moss too.

I knew who Will Davis was as well…I just thought he was an undrafted FA. LOL.

My honest answer to the OP is I remember sitting there saying "draft Vince Wilfork, draft Vince Wilfork"…and they took Vernon Carey. Carey was okay, but Wilfork was young and from the area and has been a perennial all pro. ****ing Wanny.
 
To me the worst pick will always be Eddie Earthquake Blake. Only because I believe he was the highest draft pick (second round) to never play a single down, even special teams, in the NFL.
