The odds of winning were better if you lived the sure thing FG vs go for the TD and risk not making it. There are so many “statistical models” flying around here it’s laughable.

You are being silly. There’s not just one play call. You also don’t always need to follow what the analytics tells you. But if the analytics tell you some decision is twice as likely as another to net you a win, it’s at least worth knowing that info. I’m not saying that’s the case here but if I had to guess it’s probably 55/45 one way or another. Hardly an idiotic call regardless of the decision.

I thought it was idiotic. W 1:44 on the clock and the other team out of TOs, how do you not take the easy 3 and the lead ?

This. When a team built by Grier and an offense run by McDaniel can't get a yard with two plays, the team doesn't deserve to win, and those two don't deserve to keep their jobs. And making matters even worse, they gave a big contract to a QB who can't even run a QB sneak to get that yard. Grier is gone, so now we need McDaniel and Tua to go too.

Yeah that was my point. Your kicker missed a 51yd FG earlier in the game so to not kick the short FG was dumb. Getting to the 40 yard line and not trying to pick up extra yards relying on a 57 yard FG was even dumber.

I love how those who clearly don’t “get it” are self identifying these days. Thank you buttonwood (whoever the hell you are) for cluing us in to the reality that you know the taste of each window in a 4 block radius from your home.

And to call people “retards” that think otherwise, is quite humorous, because those that think otherwise probably are a bit more mathematically inclined than those who blatantly think it was a bad call.

Who am I ? Ill tell you who I am and also the difference between me and you dip ****. I live down here, Ive followed the team for 40 years. Been a season ticket holder and been to more games in the Ob and jrs than I can remember… My parents bought Larry Csonkas house from him when he went to the world football league . I can guarantee that I know more about this team by a large margin than you do…Players, Coaches the successes, the failures

The difference between me and you is don’t just hang out on here all day with 37000 posts on a site where 15 guys argue the same points for their whole lives…. window licker? That’s some guy living in his moms basement in West Virginia named bumpus, not me.
