I just read a thread that some Pittsburg journalist called us the worst team in the NFL...
Personally I can't believe it. The only "major" piece we lost was RW & Wale. We never had David Boston last year for his presence is moot. As for Ricky.. gee the last time we went to the playoffs... we wasnt running the ball for us! ..and as for Wale... hmm.. i didnt seem to recall hearing his name mentioned last week... like he made big impact plays!... So my point is.. the last time we went to the playoffs... all the "key" people who have been talked about weren't with us then.. and they arent with us now..
We have a better QB tandem.. Frankly i like the running back by committee aspect.. could be interesting... our receiver core is much better.. especially if the reach their full potential (Thompson). Our defense has remained virtually intact and effective...
So how can we be the worst in the NFL... Some must obviously think that because Rasta Williams wants to become an herbalist, that we're going to choke?.. Or that Dan (our saviour) Marino refuses the front office job that we're not worth playing for?

I just dont get it... I still believe we're a playoff caliber team... until the season proves me otherwise.:fire:

Hey don't sweat it fellow Canuck. Everyone is trying to kick us while we're "down". Every team in the league resents the Dolphins consistently being good and can't wait for us to fall. It's like any record really everyone not invested in the record holder wants them to fall.

IMO, to be the worst in the NFL, is to have the worst record, to have scored the least amount of points, to have given up the most points, to have the least yard producing offense, and to yield the most yards in the game. also, to have the 32nd ranked offense and defense.

Do we have that? Of course not. Statistically, Baltimore is worse b/c they only scored 3 points and gave up 20. Right now it isnt possible for the Dolphins to be the worst team in the NFL.

they're all stupid. They don't pay attention to this team so they think just because the only player they've heard of on this team retired we suck. they'll be eating their words later.

We're not the worst team in the league, but a 6-10 or a 7-9 record this year wouldn't be a major shock.

It would shock me. This is the Dolphins we're talkin here. We don't do 6-10 and 7-9 records.

I just dont see how all the sports writers can write us off so quickly... it blows my mind.. but it does make for for TV subplots to a nationally televised game.... we kick a$$ in primetime.. our stocks go wayyy up!

Have no doubt that he Dolphins backs are against the wall right now. But you know what they say about a cornered animal.

It just isn't the media that is writing us off, but fans of the NFL also. I just went to ESPN and voted for the winner of each game this week and 84% picked the Bengals and only 16% picked the Dolphins. I am getting sick of all of this negativity. There a bunch of teams in worse shape then us and I can't believe no one is giving us a shot against the Bengals. This Sunday Night can't come soon enough.
