We are stuck in the same situation since Dan Retired. We again have no capable quarterback. Chad's arm strength is worst than Jay Fielder. I never thought in a million years I would say this. Until we get a quarterback that can throw the ball further than 10 yds we will be lucky to win one game this year. I seriously think Mc Cown would have given us a better chance to win then Chad.

Henne showed us what a QB with an arm can do. The receivers actually looked decent. The running backs had room to run. And no, the Cardinals were not in a prevent Defense. Mr. Henne straight sliced and diced them.
 
I'll tell you one thing...Out of how bad Jay was....And, boy, he was...He gave 100% every game. I questioned his competancy, but, never his effort.
 
Not worse than Fiedler. Arm strength probably about the same. Both QBs sucked throwing the deep ball but Pennington is more accurate on the short and intermediate routes. The thing I hated most about Fiedler wasnt so much his lack of strength, it was that his receivers ALWAYS had to stop, leap, dive, or make some acrobatic move to catch the ball. He rarely hit anyone on the numbers and never hit his receivers in stride.
He did give 110% effort though. Similar to what Parseghian told Rudy in the movie...
I wish we had Fiedler's heart in a real QB's body.
 
His arm is worse than Jay Fiedler's. There is no debate on that.

That ball that Pennington throws are moving in slow motion and flying in the air like little pretty rainbows; he is setting up his receivers to get jacked up.
