Since Urlacher is holding out what do you think the bears will do? If they decide to trade him think Parcells would go after him? It would definetly solidify out LB's

No thanks. I don't want to deal picks for a guy with back problems. Urlacher has been on a bit of a decline lately and now he is complaining about his contract.

I agree. I also think (really more hope, but I have a good feeling) that Crowder will step up this year.

I think he would be a great leader on the field and we need one for our defense. I think he could bring alot to the table.

I have to agree that I hope Crowder learned a lot from Zach and can have a huge break out year

I'll spare you my total opinion of Channing Crowder and just say that he has a lot of work to do if he plans on starting let alone having a break-out season.

I don't think anyone here would mind Urlacher, the question is what type of compensation would the Bears ask for. He is the leader of that defense and the Bears are sure to ask for high compensation.

If theprice is reasonable, then why not. But i'm sure the bears have a different idea of what reasonable means to them.

Sure, I would take him. I would take him out to dinner to discuss how the Bears would never trade him.

Let me give a little perspective as I live in Chicago: NO! He has clearly been injured and his best years are behind him. But even beyond that, he is NOT a leader on the field. He was an icon here in Chicago but after the way he treated the media (and therefore the fans) last year, he really demonstrated that he is a childish, selfish jerk and the entire city has turned on him quickly. We don't need that on the Dolphins, so forget it.

The JT for Urlacher trade; yah, that would make a few headlines.

I have to say I would make that trade in a second. Swap of HOFers. I think if Urlacher went to another team and stayed healthy he would be on top of his game again. I think he needs a change of scenery.

For some reason they are discussing signing Crowder to an extension from what I hear. I suppose he is a big sized LB, like Bill likes, but if they sign him to an extension I hope its at a cheap backup player price.

As for this thread.....we arent getting Ulracher. When will these stop? Its either a completely unrealistic trade or picking up a guy who we have no need for, dosent fit our system, is way too old etc etc.. They never stop.
