Would beating New England make you a believer?

If we beat New England would you be a believer in this team/regime? If the fins could get a W this weekend that would be enough for me to believe we are on the right track with Philbin and co. Either way Im super pumped for this weekend its been to long that we have all seen the Miami Dolphin logo involved with the playoff scenario while we watch on sundays. GO DOLPHINS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
 
Yes. But I'd also expect them to choke on applesauce and screw it up the last 2 weeks. That's just how bad this team has been the last 13 years.

If they really want to change some minds, they need to go out there and just keep winning until even DeathStar is a believer. :lol:
 
No. Should've beaten them twice this year and taken the Playoffs by week. Should not have lost to Buffalo at Home or Tampa Bay. No.
I don't have belief in this QB or the receivers. We have a hella defense. Don't have playmakers who can abuse opposing team.
 
The pats are the major hurdle in the path of the Fins to the playoffs. Our team should be built to win our division, and until we beat the pats, at least once a year, we can't move onward. They must be beat get respect.
 
i'm a believer with or without a win sunday...this team just won a game yesterday that in the past we absolutely would have lost...end of story...i wanted to be in the playoff hunt all season we are accomplishing that...first time we've had meaningful games in december since the 1-15 cupcake schedule and brady going out for the year division win like 5 years ago...

this year we got a real shot at the last playoff seed but if not we finish as the #7 afc finisher and a winning record...next year we take the division and with this qb keep it for the long haul...what we have is very sustainable over the long haul...

if this team does make the playoffs for me everything after that is gravy...a wild card week win is possible on the road but we wouldn't go any further anyways...we're not ready for that yet and this qbs not ready for it yet either...

enjoy the ride of the first no crutch winning season this teams had in a long time...we are not getting beat by buffalo or the jets the last 2 weeks
 
This team has an unbelievable knack for letting me down. Knowing the fins, we'll beat the Pats then lose to the jets or bills.

Just when I think they've finally turned a corner (see 3-0 start) they find a way to rip my heart out.

So no, one win against NE wouldn't make me a believer. Consistent wins would.

So......you're telling me if we go 10-6 beating NE, NY, and Buffalo, your'e going to harp on losses earlier in the season to those teams??? When you get a blow*ob does it even make you feel good? Do you smile afterwards???

I hear ya about being let down. I just feel like if we beat NE we have the motivation to win out because we already lost to Buffalo so they will be impossible to overlook. I feel it im freakin pumped a win will make things very interesting.

I think beating the Patriots would give this team an air of legitimacy as a contender as well as build a lot of confidence for the remainder of this year. There have been some very disappointing games this year (Bills, Bucs and the first Patriots game), but also some huge win games (Falcons, Colts, Bengals & Steelers) that have made this rollercoaster season very interesting. Bottom line, If we win 2 of the last 3, we should have a very good shot at that last playoff spot. I also like the direction of the team and imagine it with a legitimate offensive line and a solid, consistent running game and the thought makes this long time Dolphin fan very happy!
 
No. There's no point in believing until we beat the Jests in week 17 to clinch a playoff spot.

'cause if we beat the Pats then lose to the Bills, we'll all be back to bitching and not believing in this team.
 
I don't trust Sherman. He called a good game yesterday, but has been inconsistent for the majority of the season.

IMO i think we have climbed to the top of the hill and these players are beleaving in what philbin is preaching , and i think the Pats are in trouble this week Miami is a team that nobody is going to want to play we are RED HOTT and just going to get better , imo i think bareing any injuries we will win out , thats how much faith and improvement this team has , The Defence is playing Very good , and staring with Brady this week he is in trouble , THESE Miami Dolphins Team are riding a Very High Confidence , and i wouldnt want to play them if i was on another Team ..
 
I believed we had enough talent coming into the season to be in first place right now with the exception of the O line. I hope they gel enough to make it into the playoffs.
