I've got a feeling that those of you that support hiring Cam Cameron will be the very ones that are blasting Wayne in 3-4 years time for hiring Cam Cameron if he fails like he did at Indiana. The only reason you guys want him is because you think he will make Miami's offense look like San Diego's offense. Cam Cameron may not even call the plays if he becomes the head coach. As a head coach, he's going to have more responsibility than just play calling. He's going to have to know when to take time outs and when to throw the challenge flag. He's got to manage the personalities of 53 different players. He's going to have to have some input in the gameplan of all three phases of football...offense, defense, and special teams. He's got to know how to manage his time during practice. These are things that he didn't do so well at while head coach at Indiana.
If he's such a hot candidate, you have to wonder why San Diego wants Wade Phillips over him.
