Would it even make a difference if Brees were here?

No! Even with his knee injury, Daunte is still more mobile than Brees. Drew would be getting killed back there just like Pep.

If he were to play the way he has been with he Saints...Yes he would make a big difference. The most important position on offense is the QB and if he is playing lousy, it brings the whole offense down with him.

Excellent post. I agree 100%. A perfect example is Warner. At one time he played great, in a system that worked for him. He's never been able to get back to that form. I fear the same for Daunte.

Not that I'm a big Mularky supporter, but if Duante can't execute well why should Mularkey shoulder all that blame? I'm not even going to get into the offensive line woes.

You would have to think that if Brees were here and playing like he's capable the offense would be at least a notch or two better.

It's pretty clear to me that Brees was much more ready to start the year than Culpepper was.

At this point, yes he would have made more of a positive impact on the team..... at this point.
 
We will never know. It like asking will it make a difference if we would picked up Hasselback before he went to seattle.

really good question.honestly. I think it would, as the offense is lacking a playmaker................it all starts at QB. quick decisions.........quick.
 
Drew Brees is a standup guy, you won't hear anything about a loveboat scandal with him. All we heard here was how hard Daunte was working to get back. Brees looks the same if not better than before the injury with a whole new cast of players around him. Plus he's younger. I love Brees, can't quite get used to Daunte yet.
