It's an interesting take, not sure tbh. Everyone was shocked when we fired him last year and no one liked the Gailey hire when we made it. But we still won 10 games ! In practically any other year that's a playoff birth. From time to time we saw some great play design from the old man but it just hasn't been shown enough, whether that's down to him or execution is the hot topic right now on here and throughout social media.
I think it's a safe bet that he will go back to retirement pretty soon, it's also a pretty safe bet that we won't be bringing back O'Shea. This, I believe, is the key decision of the off season.
