Would Ross fire Flores to hire jim Harbaugh?

Harbaugh stepped into a loaded team at San Francisco. Don't really know about development of players.

Oh my ****in god, stop with these ridiculous threads.

i don’t know if the post yesterday about us getting Brady or this one is worse. Right now we have 13 draft picks in the next draft, tons and tons of cap space, our team has been mediocre forever. we finally have a plan and we all knew this was a throw away season. Go root for Michigan if you want him so bad. Not this post. The original I am commenting on.

it's strange looking at those teams and seeing many of the veterans he inherited still around but most of his players you couldn't pick out on any team.

They had 1st round picks at guard...

The man went

13-3
11-4-1
12-4
8-8

With Alex Smith and Kaepernick as QBs in todays NFL. We could do much worse than Harbaugh. Much worse. Do I want him? Not really sure. I am honestly liking what I am seeing out of Flores. The main thing I was gonna grade Flores on this year was could he keep this lockerroom while losing a lot of games. Could he be respected. I think he's done a very good job so far. Lets see how he holds up.

I'm not saying Flores has to go now, but if a proven NFL coach wanted the job, I'd think long and hard about it. Really don't like how Flores chased off Minkah, and pulled that dumb stuff with Stills and the music. Flores hasn't convinced me he's more than your typical NE assistant hire, a specialist who tries to imitate what Belichick does without knowing why he does it.
You don't need to be worried about Flores sticking around. Coaches don't survive the tank process.

Flores gets three years. This FO didn't hire him to be a patsy. They hired a HC with no HC experience and gave him a turd sandwich to deal with, while he learns and doesn't take the brunt of the blame. They'll load up on talent next year and will LOOK for improvement. They'll load up on talent the next year and EXPECT improvement on a larger scale. If he fails, then he's out. They'll hopefully have a roster full of young fire-eaters and a good mix of veteran leaders that will make the team a desirable landing spot for a decent HC.

Holy crap, you were spot on, mate!

and this thread being two+ years old and we're still talking about firing flo and hiring Jim Harbaugh is spooky....

Damn, that was quite a call!

I am not sure why this thread was bought back. Because Ross has made it clear he will not hire Harbaugh and take him away from Michigan.

Ross loves Michigan more than the Dolphins so I believe him when he says he won’t hire Harbaugh. Harbaugh might leave Michigan for another head coaching job in the NFL but it won’t be with the Dolphins.

Because I find it interesting to look back and see what our opinions were and how they've changed.

Maybe you shouldn't question everything you don't understand or care about? Realize some people find context and historical prospectives interesting and you should take that with a grain of salt...

Because the last post was SPOT ON with the prediction? Not to mention Flores was fired and Harbaugh has been rumored to listen to NFL offers. I appreciated Dave giving NC credit.

Come on old man, keep up! :HRT:
