if either rosenfelds or feeley had won the starting job in camp, and looked exactly like gus has through 5 games with identical numbers, would saban bench them at this point?

Saban is a throwback coach. I don't think he's the type to change QBs unless he has ample reason to believe that the benefits would definitely outweigh the chaos the move would cause.

yeah man youre right, the bills changed qbs and that resulted in utter and complete chaos. but theyve won 2 in a row since making the move. now i wonder if they believed the benefits of making the switch to holcomb would outweigh the utter chaos before they did it? no, they had no idea what would happen, but they knew that jp wasnt getting it done and had to try something else. gus is not getting it done and we have to try something else. enough of this "management" and "stand in" nonsense, we are trying to win football games and gus is doing a pretty piss poor job of helping us do that.

If you're such a big fan of what the Bills are doing, you're welcome to jump ship. :rolleyes2

I for one stand with Nick Saban and the Miami Dolphins.

and even though i put the blame on him this last game, so do i. i trust Saban's decision making, because he's a coach and i'm not. he sees what i don't see.

but anyway, i think whoever was our QB would remain that way. this QB play hasn't been NEARLY as bad as that we had last year. QBs have bad games sometimes.... as long as they aren't single-handedly losing the games for us (which right now our QB is not), then why would you bench them?

yeah man your arguments are continuously weak and without any substance other than what you "feel." i ***** slapped your "chaos" and risk vs reward blah blah blah so you say im welcome to jump ship to the bills? lol come on bro that's WEAK.

you're wrong. everyone in this thread that says saban wouldn't make a change at this point, pull your head out of your *** guskateers...get over yourselves and accept the fact gus needs to have a seat on the bench.

Mod Edit: Not appropriate. 24hrs.

QB needs to be addressed in the draft, but it is only one of many areas (DB's, QB, Oline, receiver, that need fixing) It has little to do with the coaching style and everything to do with the team. Now that glimmers of playoffs have going away, we can get back to the reality that this is an average or flawed team and 2006 is the season to cheer for. This team will win a few more great games and make us wonder, but it is going now where slowly. He if the plan is to make haste slowly, we will succeed.

Gus's flaw is overthrows. We have had QBs playing a lot worse then him stay the starter. At this point, I dont think that pulling him would do any good. Last time I checked, Gus hasnt thrown any INTs for TDs, which is a step up for this team.

Maybe because his interceptions are all 40-50yds away from the scrimmage line?
