i dont think so...gus was a good guy and all. but i dont think he has to popularity or the IMPACT of the game to be getting the dolphins this much attention

I agree with you.I have to say thow i wish we would have kept him and not traded for Harrington.

agreed people would still be questioning our QB position if Gus was here

Why? Gus will be 35 this year I believe. And is nothing but average. Maybe Harrington can do something now that he is out of Detroit. No QB can succeed there. Garcia looked even worse when he was starting.

we wouldve gotten some hype because gus did ok at the end of the season, but not ven close to what we're getting now!!! hope it pays off big!!!

obviously we wouldnt get this much hype. the main reason is cpep. cuz we have a legit top 5 qb now. with frerrote no1 feared our passing game so our offense could only do so much and our defense is rebuilding.

however, with cpep and chambers n brown our offense can be amazing and the addition of jason allen will definitely help our defense. and you cant forget SABAN

Gus already new the system and i think he did a good job for us last year.Harrington has never really done anything.I feel Harrington will do a good job here in Miami but odds are hes only going to be here for 1 year.Since Gus already new the system hes more valuable even if he is 35.It comes down to who do you want to backup Culpepper for this year?I got to go with gus but i think Harrington will be fine here also.

I aint gonna downplay Gus like that he almost got us to the playoffs one more season and who knows what he could have done. Stats and popularity mean nothing, a perfect example is when Dilfer won the superbowl with the Ravens he was average at best.

Couldnt agree more.

Unreal to believe the Fins would get as much attention as they do now. With all the new additions,Beasley,Culpepper, coaching staff etc.

Gus dragged down the whole damn team. Almost got us to the playoffs? When your QB has your team ranking DEAD LAST in completion percentage (and consequently 30th in ToP), he's not almost getting you anywhere, he's STOPPING you from getting there.

Oh yeah, Gus had an impact...with his head and any defender or stadium wall.
