I know a lot of people come up with Madden type trades that make no sense, but I think this trade would help out both teams. Trade Jason Taylor to the Eagles for Lito Sheppard and a draft pick...maybe a 3rd. What this does for the Eagles is give them a replacement for Javon Kearse who they just cut. For the Dolphins, we get a young (26) pro bowl CB in Sheppard that can team up with Will Allen to form a nice CB team. We also get a draft pick with Sheppard because the two players just don't add up one for one. Now I'm not all for trading Jason Taylor, but if it helps make our transition to a young team with potential in the future, then I would do it. The Eagles are trying to trade Sheppard since they signed Asanta Samuels. I think this trade would work out for both teams. What do you guys think?
 
definelty a madden trade.

Acrtually, I just tried that trade in Madden and it said the eagles were ripping us off, so even in Madden this trade is absurd!
 
I don't see how the Eagles can keep him.
A lot of money went to Asante, and Westbrook is getter a new contract.

I would do that that trade with no problem.
 
why would the eagles cut kearse, then trade their CB that they dont want to pay for a replacement for kearse that is making $8M a year??????????

because that replacement has 10 times better since kearse has been with the eagles. and they are trying to get rid of sheppard so it makes sense

what makes this trade absurd. you're saying it's absurd while others are saying it's perfect. so which is it?
 
i think that you just trade jt for lito strait up, a third is too high. but for a prime cb for jt who is at the end of his prime. good trade for both teams but i realy want lito

i agree it would be a good trade for both. but i'm assuming that others on here think that trade is absurd because it's not enough in return for jason taylor. i mean i guess since no one is explaining why it would be so absurd.
