Do you guys think we can trade Jason taylor to the Colts for their 1 round draft pick? Theyr a great team that has a great shot at a championship and i think theyl be willing to give a 1 round pick for a great defensive player that has probably 3 years left in him. Just wanted to hear you opinions about this subject.

After signing Freeney to that monster contract last year, I can't imagine that they would do it. If they were up for it, I'd do it yesterday.

Only if Bringing JT would be a cap friendly move. Remember they just shelled out big-time money for Freeney and Wayne.

The Colts are one of the few teams without salary cap space. They could not afford to take on JT's contract.

The Minnesota talk makes the most sense. It is all speculation, but they definitely need a DE for their 4-3 scheme. Kenechi Udeze being out really opens up a need for them. JT would fill it well and on that turf he would be quick as hell. If we were able to land a 2nd and 4th or 5th like people are talking about, I'd do it in a heartbeat. The Browns gave up a 2nd for Corey Williams and a 3rd and 5th for Kris Jenkins. JT even being older should be able to net at least a 2nd, if not an extra late round pick.

not gonna happen, JT will be moved more than likely, probably on Day 1 of the Draft, bring on those EXTRA PICKS, i look for us to net between 10-12 picks before all is said and done on the draft. We are sitting in prime spots for Teams who have targeted certain players who drop, say into the top of RD 2, or RD 3, This draft is deep with talent well into the Mid 4th RD. Draft day cant get here soon enough!!!

lol...why would the Colts want Taylor??

They have one of the best duo DE's in the league. This make no sense, the Colts are far from needing Taylor....:rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

As a Taylor fan is hard to be objective, but if I was an NFL executive, I would be very interested in JT. Although age is always a factor, Taylor has built a solid reputation. With JT, you pretty much know exactly what your going to get, even if it is only 3 years. He's a total pro, and he keeps it real. Its a safer bet than anyone outside the top 15 in the draft. I would be happy with just about any deal for JT, but likewise I would be fine with seeing him lined up on one side and Gholston or Long on the other side.

when did everyone start getting all gung ho over the "what can we get for JT?" threads? It seems I am the only Dolphins fan that would be willing to keep him until he has nothing left to give. The guy has played the most consecutive games in our franchise history, does that not mean anything to anyone? He's still playing at a high level, who cares what we can get for him. There isn't a single offer I can think of (no matter how far fetched) that would make me want to part with JT. Especially after having to lose Zach already.
