NFL sends many half baked break even teams from the NFC to the playoff field each year. Id vote for sending the TOP teams in the league regardless of AFC-NFC affiliation. Its also why I think the divisions should be shook up regularly to even the them out. NE dominated the AFC for 20+ seasons because they had 3/4 of the teams beat already every season.
