I really believe that one of Amari Cooper or Kevin White (probably Cooper because of the Raiders' obsession with physical ability) will fall to #9 where the Giants pick. The Giants do have Odell Beckham, but with the injury to Cruz, and Randle being disappointing, I wouldn't put it past them to draft Cooper at 9... I'd be shocked if Cooper got past St Louis at 10.

With that being said, would you be ok with this trade up for cooper to pick 8 or 9 :
#14 overall, 4th rounder this year, 1st rounder next year.

That's what the Bills gave up for Watkins, and I think that Cooper is a better player than Watkins.
If we get out of the first 2 rounds with Cooper and a quality guard, our offense could be elite for years assuming Tannehill continues to grow.

No trade up we really need a guard and with a trade up we might not get a great one...........

No.

I wouldn't want to give up two 1st rounders.

If that was the price, then I'd rather..

- Sign WR Michael Crabtree

- Use our #14 pick for CB Trae Waynes or OT/OG Brandon Scherff

- Use our 4th rd pick for WR Darren Waller or WR Chris Conley, as a developmental WR.

Let's say to get to 9 - we give up #14, a 4th this year, and our #1 next year? That sounds expensive man. I'd rather give up our first and second this year (but that would be problematic given that we don't have a third, need a RB and G, and there is serious RB talent in rounds two and three). Could we get by with Miller and maybe give Moreno another shot with a late round RB? Probably.

The more I think about it the more it should be straight up first this year and first next year, without any additional picks.

But one way or another if we can move up for Cooper I am all aboard. We need an Alpha and Cooper is that. Cooper Stills and Landry would be insane

If Cooper falls to 9 then I am good picking Parker and keeping those other picks because we are going to need every pick we have this year and next with Suh's cap hit next year.

Cant waste a 1st round pick on a guard :(

Brandon Scherff can play OT or OG. That flexibility is important, since..

1) We don't know how LT Brandon Albert will be this year after tearing his ACL & MCL.

2) Dallas Thomas is currently one of our starting guards

If LT Brandon Albert is back 100%, then Brandon Scherff replaces Dallas Thomas at guard.

If LT Brandon Albert is gimpy, then Brandon Scherff plays LT.

NO. No receiver is worth trading up for. Not giving up significant future assets for a receiver. Hell no.

Did Julio Jones take Atlanta over the top? Nope. We need to focus on building the defense up(it doesn't stop with Suh), and fortify the running game. Those are the prorities.

All for getting Cooper but no way do you trade two firsts for him. You make a great point in the original post, Buffalo gave up two firsts and a fourth to get Watkins but they should have stayed with their original pick and taken Odell Beckham.

No WR in this year's draft is worth two 1st round picks.

No way I would do that. I thought the Bills were nuts for doing it last year. If they would have stayed where they were they could have drafted Odell Beckham and still had their first round pick this year. This is a deep draft at receiver anyway.
