Why would they trade him when he is most likly thier new #2?

Patriots won't make that deal with a division opponent. If they move him for that, that shows how low they think of him and we gave up a third for a bum

This thread needs to end now. None of us have any idea how Mallett is progressing.
One thing I DO KNOW HOWEVER, is that if he was looking like a future star, Belichick would not trade him.
If Belichick traded him to us, you can be sure that close examination by the Pats over the past year has revealed that HE SUCKS.
Therefore....If he was good, we couldn't get him. If we were offered him, that would mean he is pathetic.
