Would You Like To Sign Veteran Stephen Davis Just For A One Year Contract In Ricky's Absence?, I'm not sure that he is a free agent, but according with an almost 85% efective source, they show that...

I know he is not the best RB or backup RB, but he had a decent year las year with 12 TD's...

what is wrong with you...haven you ever heard of one running back. ronnie brown is going to be the best rb in the league
 
Please no, Davis' knees are bone on bone. If he can even play this year, it will only be as a goal line back. Not something we need when our starter is 6'0 235lbs.

1. Yeah, I heard of one running back. It was used by Wanny his last year as coach...named R. Williams if I remember....

2. Not Stephen Davis, please!
 
davis would not b a bad pick up 4 1 yr. speed with brown, and power with davis pretty good combo.. :dolphins:
 
Davis would be an effective backup if he's willing to play for the league minimum.

What is wrong with you......haven't you heard of a thing called 'injury'......we need to have a viable option if Ronnie gets one. :shakeno:
 
Davis isn't the answer. In his prime I would have been all for this but I doubt he could stay healthy even in goalline situations. There are a lot of free agents and there could be some value in draft(later rounds). Until then Ill just wait and see what Saban does. You have to feel that hes formulating a plan.

what other rb can we after in free agency? i dont kno if eddie george is available but ill take stephen davis over eddie george. age comes thru and stephen davis is still young

*edit*..accoring to you we should have all pro bowl back ups, but guess what...there are other teams in the league and such a thing called salary cap. i know most of you dont really care b/c is such a small issue but the miami dolphins dont even have good staters at every position. Oh wait we need 5 pro bowl running backs just incase they all get hurt. We mine as well have a pro bowl back up at every poistion. Just for the record the best running teams such as giants,seahawks,colts,chragers all have one main rb. you guys are so unaware of the HUGE fact that there are other players on the field other then a running back.:eek:
