The Jets and Bills are both looking to move up for Lynch. Let's assume he is still available at 13. Would any of you work a deal with a rival to move back and allow them to get a qb?

It is an extremely difficult question for me and I'm really not sure what I would do if they gave me a call while on the clock.

Thoughts?

Yes, I would do it. And I'm hoping for this trade scenario. Get some more picks.

That depends is Jack is still available. If he is then I hope they draft Jack in a heart beat. If not I would not mind this trade at all

Teams who focus on another team in a trade other than themselves typically lose.

If you make a trade, it's because you believe that YOU benefit from the trade. If you're too worried about another team benefiting from the trade, it's either not a good trade, or you've got the wrong mindset. Do the best you can to make YOUR OWN squad better.

No way..

You don't want to be the franchise that gives your division rival a better QB than you have.

I Would not even entertain that idea.

Yes but they are going to pay out the arse. Above value chart compensation....meaning they would have to give up a 2nd rounder this year when it's only worth a 3rd.

yes, if i think i'm getting the better deal.. why not????

High risk. The businessman in me says yes, do the deal if it's good enough. However, NFL fans are highly emotional. If the Jets, Bills or Patriots were to have success from the Draft trade then it would be a source of embarrassment and shame. For a second, imagine if Miami had traded the 6th round Draft pick #199 to New England that enabled them to draft Tom Brady in 1999, what would your feelings be towards trading picks within the division? Safest path as risk avoidance is to never ever trade picks within the division.

If Buffallo and NYJ are bidding against themselves and you don't take their offer someone else will.
So as long as sliding down works for you then I would make that trade.

In business, you always take a deal that is good for you.

Pretty simple, in my opinion.

There would have to be a trade premium and I would need to know specifically who they want. It still pisses me off that we traded Welker to the Patsies. We should always ask ourselves WHY does a team want someone. We may be missing something.

disagree, not if it exponentially makes your div rival better. a qb makes up for so many weaknesses on a team - just ask the Pats
