After reading a thread about Saban and how one of his best moves was drafting Ronnie Brown it got me thinking..what if we DIDNT draft Brown in 05??
We were advertising that we were interested in Braylon Edwards...what if we took him instead? Ricky was expected to return and he did...Saban could have very well banked on the fact that Ricky was commited to us again and taken the best WR in the draft.
After Ricky left us we would have been in trouble but in no position to draft a legit running back in 06..so I dont think we would have addressed it quite yet..which leads us to the 07 draft, we could have easily moved up to snatch Adrian Peterson with all the draft picks we had and that is where the hypothetical comes in.

Braylon Edwards/Adrian Peterson ....
OR
Ted Ginn Jr./Ronnie Brown ...

Its a toss up in my eyes

EDIT: I have a much more detailed comparison on page 2, so read on!
 
I think if we didn't draft Ronnie, there was a good chance that we would have drafted Frank Gore . . . but then we wouldn't have Channing Crowder so we might have had Patrick Willis.

How about

Braylon Edwards/Frank Gore/Patrick Willis

I would take Ginn over Edwards, but I would take Peterson over Brown...so it's a push for me!:hide:
 
I think edwards and peterson will be alot better than Ronnie and Ginn. I like Ronnie and think he will be good for you guys or a while but I love AP and I am not sold on Ginn. I don't think he'll be as good as Chamber and Edwards 2nd season was already Chambers-like. If Ginn turns out to be consistent 1,000 yd WR then it will be close but going forward I'd rather have Edwards/Peterson.
 
I'd rather have Brown over Edwards

I can't say something about Ginn and Peterson because they haven't played a down in the NFL yet

Your just hating on the Fins. Say something when Ginn is blowing by all of your defenders.
