This was the situation that HickBin were faced with. Do you agree with going with their 5th rated tackle over their 1st rated guard?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to go with the best guard and get a comparable tackle in the 2nd round?

I honestly think they really liked this guy and think he will be really good. Think tackle had to be the pick because he can be moved inside if needed.

Who was the best guard in the draft. Was he available at 19.

Mmmm no. He went at 16. Would you prefer that we trade up and draft a guard? Mathews and Robinson were the only 2 o liners that I would have traded up for.

No need to cry over spilled milk. They took who they wanted, which is someone to protect Tannehill. We have 7 picks to fill out the two guard postions so we are in a good spot.

So...are we drafting a guard in round two, now?

Because if that's the case, then why couldn't we just grab an elite guard in round one?

I'm curious to see what the plan is for today.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the best guard is still available. Unless you think Martin is a guard. But he is slated at tackle

My point being a guard is a reach at that point obviously since none were taken. And maybe we feel the drop off at tackle after james was too much. The only other tackle i think is rated high was moses and james fits us better
