Sigh. Think if over. The Dolphins need the following:
Pittsburgh to drop 3 straight.
San Diego to drop 2 of their last 3.
Kansas City to drop their last 3.
Now, how unlikely is that? And we still NEED to win out. Im opimistic usually, but I don't think we can tough it out IN Foxborough in the middle of winter against a, by that time, healthy New England team. Look at the schedules. We need San Diego to defeat Kansas City in Arrowhead to even have a shot at the wild card. We cannot make the wild card unless their planes crash. It's less than a 0.5% shot at the wild card. We MUST win the division to make the playoffs, which is still unlikely. I would love to see Miami in the playoffs, but we're relying on New England to drop three straight. Sure they can lose to the rolling Tampa Bucs. Sure we have a shot at defeating New England Week 17. But what's in the middle? The New York Jets. Pats win any one of the three games, they seal their playoff spot. We have a VERY slim shot at the division. VERY SLIM.
