a guy that cant make up his mind. Fisher this is a yes or no question. You cant take this long to challange a replay.

Your question is invalid. Fisher WILL make up his mind. He simply HASN'T yet.
If you had a tough decision in your life to make do you take everything into
account when you make decisions or do you just grab the fist crumb that comes your way?

Personally, I like a guy that gets all the information availiable and makes a considered
decision over someone who will just jump on the first thing that swims by.

I'd much rather have a guy that thinks things through then a guy that says yes because of the money. M.Murkley kept saying he didn't know if he'd ever get another shot at a HC gig after Buffalo, that's a desperate coach willing to take any job offered...no thanks. That's the difference between getting an excellent coach that will always have opportunities and a guy that can't say no.

I think he's just trying to squeeze the best deal out of either the Rams or the Fins.

I certainly can't blame him for that. If I were in his position and I thought I could get away with it, I'd do the same.

I really hate how everyone assumes he doesn't want to be here because he's mulling over two very different job offers. He wants to be in BOTH places, not neither.

I'm fine with or without Fisher but what I don't understand is why people are pissed he's taking his time. He's afforded that right to do so.

Do you really think he doesn't know what he wants? C'mon. He's not being indecisive, he's bidding up his value/role.

This is a stare-down in which Fisher is in the driving seat. The longer it goes on (up to a point obviously) the more he stands to gain. Somebody will lose patience soon and we'll be in an end-game, but this is not some spotty teenager dithering so long over who to ask to the prom that he gets nobody, this is a business deal. Fisher is playing it well and he'll be rewarded accordingly when the contract is struck.

Hmmmmm! Career choice or receivers foot in bounds?...............tough call.

sigh... in what day an age do we live in now that actually taking the time to make an educated decision for the next 5 years of someones life is expected to be made rashly and grossly compared to challenging a play.... :ponder:

b.s. man.

everyone has deadlines. most jobs make you an offer and they have other candidates - you have a deadline.

you get into a school - you have a deadline.

the world has DEADLINES.

this is getting old fast and is taking wayy too long. how people can continue to defend the circus this has become is beyond me.

Some job offers have deadlines. Some don't. Speaking of that, how do we know this one doesn't have a deadline? If Fisher is your clear cut #1 and you have an entire pool of #2s, why do you hamstring yourself by setting an arbitrary time limit on the offer? Ross has proven he will act decsisively to go after the guy he wants. That's good in my book. Harbaugh has proven he would've been a great hire if he could've been gotten. Fisher may or may not.

A reciever foot in or out of bounds can determine if you make it to next season.
Yeah, and you get a very finite amount of time to determine whether you want to challenge a call. Fisher is taking as much time as the Rams and Dolphins are allowing him to take in making this coaching decision.

Simple question. Do you accept our offer? Well wait I gonna see what the next guy has in his pocket. Any answer besides yes then we have the wrong guy.
