The Bears have three quality DEs and because of his contract Adewale Ogunleye seems the most likely to be cut (probably right before the beginning of the season).

"Alex Brown wants to be traded. Adewale Ogunleye has a contract that makes him more vulnerable before the season-opener. Neither might have as much value to the Bears long term as Mark Anderson."

Would you take Wale back if a need arises at the position?

Of course he is a tremendous talent, probably so much so that I would be surprised to see him cut.
He really wouldnt fit the current mold of our DE's IMO.

A tough one. Wale got big money in Chicago so he may be looking for the same whatever happens. He did do well here, but I think that adding him back here would create a log jam and only serve to continue to keep our youth on the bench. We need to see what those guys can do in regular situations.

Sure I would take him back, the problem is he seems to be a straight up 4-3 DE rather than a pseudo 3-4/4-3 guy...and so the thing is, he probably wouldn't voluntarily come back.

hell yes ..... i never wanted to get rid of him and to have a chance of getting him back along with keeping booker that we got from the trade.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overpaid! He was a product of the system. Good player but not a franchise DE like he got paid. We have JT and Roth and need to develop young studs like RWright for the 3-4. He is way overrated IMO.

Not unless he started acting like a team player, and not so worried about the big payday. Look at JT and Zach, both are better then Wale is, and everytime there is a contract that needs to be redone, or Cap problems, they are always ready to put the team ahead of themselves (As long as Miami also is fair...of course).

Prince Wale was a distraction (Among many other problems in 04), and showed to be very selfish, we need more team players, unselfish players.

Without question...He is still young and is a great talent. Imagine him and Taylor teamed up again. Taylor could just roam the field

Yes but only at the right price. We need some veteran help at the DE position. We are not going to get him the Dolphins will not pay him what he want and I am not sure he is worth it right now.

Yea of course u would take him back . . . depending on price, which in the end will be the reason why we wont take him back.
