Would you have traded Davon Bess, Erick Walden, and our 3rd round and 5th round draft picks for one year of Braylon Edwards. You know if he has a good year, he will hit the open market and go to the highest bidder.

No. I'm happy building through the draft. It's working so far.

i wouldnt give bess up period. he is a great slot wr. our wes welker

I wouldn't trade Bess for Edwards straight up. Keep in mind this is only year 2 of the rebuild and we are set with Bess and Hartline. It's just not worth the risk to brings Edwards in here, let him shine then go collect millions somewhere else. Then you would be out Edwards and Bess.

No, no, no

First, let our WR's get some continuity with Henne...
Next, FA 2010 see what's available...
Last, Draft a WR

More important needs.....

Shoring up the secondary with E.Berry...
Next, find a stud ILB who can cover...
Last, get a TE that is a weapon teams fear through FA or draft

Last Resort

Trade if something is too good to pass up... WR, NT, TE, or LB

Ya'll can correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they give up their slot receiver and a special teams linebacker?

Bess? Hell no. Ginn or maybe even Cam, yes, but not Bess.

Bess for Edwards?... Maybe if they threw in a 3rd. Maybe. Actually no, probably not.

Id rather give up Ginn then Bess. We don't need 2 WR's on the team who have trouble catching.

I'm beginning to think that anything we would have offered them would have been rejected since Mangini rode out of The Meadowlands with a bigger severance package than anyone could have imagined secured by an "understanding."

Am I a conspiracy theorist? Well maybe but just considering the most recent egregious example of how dirty things are in the NFL, take a look at the selective penalties last week of the new "Brady Petticoat" rule...and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Hell no. But I would do that trade for Vincent Jackson.

are you kidding? I wuldnt have traded that for ten years of Braylon... Braylon IS NOT a good WR..

No damn way! You don't trade away pieces that are working for a problem child like Edwards. A bird in the hand and all that.

Plus, I think that Bess has more upside potential than Edwards right now. Bess actually catches the ball...

Hilarious replies
bess Camarillo hartline etc... Those type
of wrs are a dime a dozen. You need real talent like
a Braylon Edwards to win. When u have a bunch of wrs like bess your
offense stinks like ours. And the 3&5 pix .. Who cares
have you seen the crap this team has drafted lately.

Since when is Braylon a real talent? Some people are so foolish.

No I wouldn't trade a 3rd and a 5th by itself let alone having Bess in there.

Once the Dolphins get a true #1 that can stretch the field, Bess is going to run wild much like Welker does for NE. He's definitely worth holding on to.
