Really? That's odd, I didn't see Shawn Alexander sitting out for injury this season. I didn't see Edgerrin James Sitting out for injury this season. So no, it's not a GIVEN that you're starting running back is going to get hurt. I agree everyone needs depth and a back up running back, but, if we can get value for Ricky, then why not try? This is a player that is one bad drug test away from being suspended for an entire year. This is a player who has said himself that he's only playing another 2-3 years. If trading Ricky for a pick of vaule and/or filling holes on this team makes us a better team. Then you do it. You can't run your team on what if's and maybe's.Dmarino110 said:In this league ur starting running back will be hurt. he will have to sit out games. Why on gods green earth would you give up a proven and cheap running back for a draft pick. What happens when Ronnie brow goes down again next year and we are chasing for a playoff spot. Who is going to fill in for him....TRAVIS MINOR?
Having 2 really good backs is a GOOD THING. why go back to 1 good back and if he goes down we're screwed playing tactics. We need a LINE BEFORE WE DRAFT A QB.
