Ok, I am not saying that I do not like Ronnie Brown cause I think he's great and will be great for many years to come and I couldn't be any happier with him, but last season, the Chiefs were thinking about dumping Larry Johnson off for very cheap, something like a 2nd round pick. If you could go back, would you have pulled a trade off like that, then used that 2nd overall pick on someone like Braylon Edwards? If you saw Larry Johnson last night, you would be very impressed with this kid, I know it was only against the Texans, but he has rushed for over 100yds 4 or 5 times already this year. What do you guys think?

No but I would have moved up to the top pick (all the way up from #2) and taken care of the QB thing while the chance existed.

I still like Brown because he is more versatile. Larry Johnson is a bruiser, great short yardage guy that can break one to the outside every now and then. Ronnie Brown can do all those things, line up in the slot, and block better than any back I've seen in a long time.
Remember that Johnson has a pretty good line to run behind, while Ronnie is making a lot of things happen all by himself.

larry johnson should never have been drafted in the 1st round.

he is an average RB with a great O-Line who played agenst the Texans defense.

IMO, hes not even worth a 3rd rounder in a trade.

No I wouldn't. Ronnie's the man. Every time I see one of those UPS commercials, I think about what Brown will do for us.

Me too

I think that we should bundle Sage and Gus with a 1st round pick at the end of the year, to trade up to a better 1st round pick... (This wouldn't happen I know I'm kiddin)

If we gave them Sage and Gus with our first, we'd probably only get their fourth in return. (For the trouble)

Lets not forget that RB has great hands as well. LJ is not known for his pass catching ability.

Are you serious? Did you not see the guy play in College? IMO he should have been the first running back taken, and not Willis McGahee.

Thank you. He was amazing at Penn State. KC didnt even have Roaf last night, their O-Line isn't great like it used to be. It's good but not great. He can break one every once in a while? He was breaking them all the time last night. He is 6'1" 230lbs and runs a sub 4.4, I'm not disagreeing with all of you, but give the man more credit than that.

Hahaha, I said that I didnt like Brown. Read the post right, before the draft, last season when we could have picked up Johnson, knowing how good he is now, would you go back and do it. I wouldnt trade Brown for anybody other than LT right now.

well McGahee was injured, so that plays a part in "who should have been drafted first". if McGahee wasnt injured he would have gone top 5 if not top 3.

but Johnson was a good RB in college. i believe he rushed for 2000 yards his last year in college. but he is just not a great NFL RB.

there is a reason he fell as far as he did. and to be honest, i couldnt believe the Chiefs drafted him in the 1st.

hes just an average RB in the NFL.

I don't like looking back at what we could have done on any draft. If I did I'd have killed Wanny already....lol I like our last draft. Not many picks to start with and yet we get a great RB,a good corner and LB,a potentially good DE,and maybe a couple of good DT's....not bad for Nick's 1st draft.

Ozzy rules!!
