many people here say we could have had this guy or that guy, but we didnt. Ronnie Brown was drafted ahead of all the other running backs for a reason. He may not be the best rookie runningback this season but if he was behind a better offensive line he would perform better. I would still take Ronnie Brown over Cadillac. He is the kind of runner we need for this team. Anything other than a big bruising back is the only runningback that will get us yards. There is no turning back on what we have. We might as well be satisfied on what we do have. Ronnie Brown has a lot of potential. Once he gets more carriers he will be better. He just hasnt gotten enough carries as a college or nfl runningback.

I agree with you, but the thing i dislike so far about his running is that he hesitates too much out there. He has the strenght to just lower his shoulders and get those tough yards...he needs to do that. In his defence though our o-line play today was atrocious, but when Morris came in you saw better running. I hope Ronnie watches game films and starts correcting some of those problems.

yep it will take ronnie a little time to adjust. he did miss 3 weeks of training camp. So hopefully he will improve when he gets more game time experience.

give him and our coaching staff time. they'll work together and get his head on right for the NFL

I wouldve, felt we shouldve, and we couldve had Caddy, but we took the guy who could catch the ball and block and is fast. I think RB is just fine in our system. I think Caddy is better. Always thought and said so. With that said, RB will be just fine, he needs to watch Ricky a little in a few weeks and the light bulb will go on. Right now he is overwhelmed a little with having to be the guy who does it all.
