the fins offense could actually hold its own? I know fins have quite a bit of things they need improved or fixed. But I was talking to a guy whose a fins fan when watching the game at the bar, how refreshing it would be if miami didn't have a sputtering offense. The fins have had a decent pts average per game and seems better in past in that perspective, but what I've noticed is the dolphins can have some mometns of offense, but a big portion of games beginning or end where they just don't do much at all. It's obvious big plays are needed for that, but it just seems you can't really count on the offense. The pts fins have had or comebacks have come back from a turnover forced or a short field. Like the patriots game, the first touchdown came from an interception in pats territory. It seems like fins offense will have one long drive, but other ones the offense needs aid from a short field or a forced turnover from the defense. I was just thinking wouldn't be nice to see the fins offense one of these days, to not need that and you know, be able to pull out long drives and get pts? I don't really mean explosive as a lot of teams are not explosive, except a few, but is this offense even "good". Good offenses seem to be able to pull out 80 yard drives into Touchdowns or at least move past midfield more and add more pts or step it up when say a team comes back. It feels like when fins have a lead, you hope that they hold them, because if a team like Pats comeback, the fins won't score more pts back. Or the offense to pick up for the defense, it doesn't seem like that or hasn't seemed like that for fins for a long time. Like I get nervous when I see a team get a two touchdown lead on miami has the offense doesn't seem capable of coming back, especially within a quarter or half without forced turnovers. Fins fought back on the falcons, but that was from forced turnovers, like that special teams fumble was huge, Idk if miami would've came back without that forced turnover.

Will miami ever have this offense and can they be a playoff team without an offense that you feel can let you come back in games or get pts on long drives or after a team comes back and more pts needed back?

Come from behind win against the Colts, Check, Drive to put yourself in a position to tie the Ravens, Check, again drive down the field for the winning fg, check. The problem is not driving downfield to put us in position to win. The problem is the playcalling we use when we get there. Too many blown calls. We should be screening to our WR if they are committing to the blitz.
