WOW at ronnie still flying under the radar...

i thought he was finally getting some attention from the media and stuff like tat, and he has and thats good... but wow the fans still dont pay him any mind... this is from the ESPNation awards voting...

4) Who is the midseason Rookie of the Year?

27.2%Bears QB Kyle Orton
21.4%Buccaneers RB Carnell Williams
19.3%Bengals LB Odell Thurman
13.2%Cowboys LB Demarcus Ware
13.1%Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown
5.7%Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson


i thought fans/sports followers had short term memories, how is carnell still even in the top 4 let alone ahead of ronnie... its kinda crazy no? just thought id point this out...
 
Ronnie has been consistent on few carries.

Give him one 130+ game, and the media/public will be riding his jock like Courtney Love.

Yeah I love the Kyle Orton thing. That is so obvious that Bears fans rush to the polls. He has the second lowest QB Rtg in the league. I don't care how impressed Sean Salisbury is with him, he still isn't doing well.

If Ronnie keeps this up he should be named Offensive Rookie of the year. I don't see him getting Rookie of the Year because sports writers are in love with Odell Thurman and Demarcus Ware.
 
who really cares....as long as we all know what he is and what he is about and can do thats all that matters. I highly doubt he really cares if he get ROY.

I think the records of their teams may have something to do with it
 
Because the teams the players ahead of ronnie are on are winning teams. If the phins become one of those, Ronnie will get more recognition.

Kyle Orton??????? u gotta be kidding me? If it wasnt for the Bears D playing lights out the Bears wud be getting beat every week.
 
Who cares, Ronnie is going to be the cornerstone of our revitalization the way LT was to SD. I dont care what the media or other fans think, Ronnie is the best rookie IMO and he is playing well.
 
Its down to whos winning as a team and nothing more. Media are fickle. We aint flavor of the month and thats all. Ronnie is doing great and thats all that matters.
