They showed a breakdown on a typical Lucas "breakdown".

Play called: quick slant....all receivers were supposed to go short and then turn to the inside.

Lucas, instead of a 3 step drop (as required for quick routes) took a 5 step drop and never removed his eyes from chambers.

They say that Lucas decided already in the huddle to go to Chambers and never looked for his open receivers at all. BTW, that was on of the pass plays which were dropped by the Jets defenders for a "sure" INT.

They also went on to say that this type of mistake should not happen on an NFL level.

Yes, I saw that.
At first it seemed like they were tearing our Phins apart. But everything they said was true about our problems, from Ray to Taylor.
And as for Ray, I'm sorry but if he gives it up one more time then he has proven to be a hinderance to our team and must be sat down. He is trying to hard and costing us. I'm not saying that Sage can do better, but its not likely for him to do worse.

SO TRUE!! and wasn't it bill parcells about 5 weeks ago [before lucas] that miami didn't have an nfl caliber passing attack?

he was right. we have a ton of talent, 2 great te's, a great rb, chambers, dedric all of a sudden forgot how to get open? i don't think so. mcknight has speed, etc...... and our o-line is not the worst in the leauge by far.

we are under achieving because our qb's are very midiocre and in ray lucas case, embarrassing.

I'm beginning to question the coaching. I don't mean that as a slam as I know that all coaches think they can "coach a guy up", but there is a point when you have to draw the line and say " this guy doesn't have it". I guess we'll see today where we're at with Ray, but if he stinks it up...I'll...I'll...honey, did the gas man come last month for the oven?...
