I Know We Have A So So Running Block Oline But Have You Seen These Stats.

2 Sacks Allowed Alll Seasssssssssssonnnn. .not Only Is This Good Of The Oline To Gain Confidence But If They Stay On This Pace Ferrotte Doing Get Tired Or Worn Down Causae Of To Many Hits.. Thats The Most Important Thing Protect Your Qb..

He Hasnt Been Playing Spectacular But Is Getting The Job Done, with Anoffense That Doesnt Know Their Identity Yet. Imagine When Chemistry And Knowledge Builds For The Offense, All I Have To Say Is Watch Out Cause We Are Coming For You...

I totally agree. I looked again at the stat column today and were had 0 sacks for 0 yards lost. Amazing after watching the F/F combo hit the ground left and right. Fielder was still hitting the turf yesterday and getting hurt. I think our RB was pretty good and will only get better as these guys play togather more. Just stop the false starts Houck next ..

that comes with chemistry in the offnse... when everyone knows everyone on this offense, they will eliminate penalties like that..trust me

Our new CS is rock solid. Let's just hope we can hold onto all of them for a couple more seasons...

Houck / Linehan have proven to be two of the best off-season additions in the NFL thus far. Let's keep the train rolln' strong!!!....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

This is why I have been so happy all offseason. Regardless of what happens this year the long term succsess uf this franchise is looking very, very good.(Not that I am not rooting for succsess this year ;) )

Run blocking was better also yesterday. if that means we're going to be better there, then LOOK out!! most Oline specialize [it seems] in either run or pass blocking. Rarely do they excel at both.

I think it's more Gus than an improved O-line that's respoonsible for that stat. Gus has been dong a great job of getting rid of the ball.

yesterday i saw only one tme that he had to throw it away taht was when it was a rollout and he over threw it intentionally to chambers side

Yeah it's kinda funny. I've seen so many people talk about how the Panthers were able to get to Tom Brady but not Gus Frerotte.

if run blocking steps up and becomes more consistent like against carolina this will be a great running season for Miami

Local media in Miami was saying that O-Line got help this weekend from backs and tight ends in protecting Gus. But they are MUCH improved from last year and will get better with time.

The offensive line play has improved as has the blocking from the backs and tight ends but lets not take away what a great job gus has done in getting rid of the ball SAFELY. it is a huge part of avoiding negative plays.

I wonder if we have allowed the fewest in the NFL:confused:

I loved what I saw yesterday from the O-Line and Houck has don a very good job.
But as a long-time Jet hater, I am still upset at the performance las week. So I won't
pop open any champaigns for this offensive line until I see more consistancy.

The thing I like about the o-line is how they constantly like to dish-out the extra shot or shove. Like they would rather fight. Its' nice to see some bad attitude out there on the offensive side of the ball for a change...
