What were we at before? like 10th? or 12th?

All I care is that we are low enough to take Vince Young if he comes out

and if he wins the national championship I think he will leave college

I hope we keep dropping, anyone hoping for the team to lose should not call themselves a fan. Hell Cleveland has had of high picks bust or get injured. Tim Couch, Gerald Warren, William Green, Braylon Edwards, Courtney Brown. Now that is a scary list although we have wasted just as many picks Fletcher, Carey,Moore, Green, JJ Johnson, J Avery, Feeley, Gordon, and so on.

Oh well, winning is worth the drop. There will still be good players towards the middle of the round. It's suprising that we are ranked that high. What a wacky year.

Dont say carey is a waste just yet

But your right, anyone who wants us to lose isnt a fan, I go into every week thinking its a win, regardless of the draft, besides a 9-7 team doesnt need a low draft pick as much as a 5-11 team anyway right? if we go 9-7 we could make the playoffs and then the draft pick becomes less important than the reputation your team builds

Better teams get better free agents anyway

Well I hope Carey is not a waste but we really got buffaloed by a team in giving up an extra pick on a guy that has trouble staying one the field with our less than stellar line. I wanted Andrews bad that year who has started all year for Philly and would have started all last year if not injured. I wonder if we would have taken Andrews if he was there.

we probally would have taken andrews

remember carey was a guard in college and moved to tackle, and the line around him isnt great either, so he might take a little longer to develope, but I think he can be a solid starter, we have the best O-line coach in the NFL, Houck is a great O-line coach and will progress carey well I hope

He was the number one offensive line recruit in nation so he has always had the potential.

Yeah but potential means nothing if the other guys dont do their job, the O-Line has to work as a unit, guys have to pick up blitzers and maintain blocks

last year when carey was in their it wasnt a fair evaluation because no-one else was doing their job, one guy cant fix an O-line, thats why id like to see carey play more this year

hmm, all of the top teams have a opponenets winning % below .500 and all the sucky teams hav ea opponents winning % above .500. Coincideince that they are sucky because they have been playing harder teams?

Schedule is part of it

but then again as an NFL team your suposed to go out and win every week regardless

i say there are 5 teams ahead of us that would take a QB if one is available:

2 New York Jets 2-10 .526
6 New Orleans 3-9 .526
9T Arizona 4-8 .510
11T Detroit 4-8 .510
12 Oakland 4-8 .526

I dont know about Arizona, they have Josh Mcown still dont they?

and

NO has Aaron Brooks

Detroit may, depending on Harrington's situation

Oakland might stick w Tuiasasopo or however u spell it

and The jets may take a LT or Running back

None of them are for sure

Everybody (well almost everybody) is talking high pick and gettin' a QB...My question is how good is Cleo....and why did we get him...was it just cause with AJ leaving we had no 3rd qb?
