The cap is going up every year....were in good shape plus it's really 3 years were stuck with the best DT in football. Great Deal. Remember what the league said about wallace's deal now it's the norm. Go Fins!!! were setting the norm but got the best in SUH!!!! Didn't the Bills give Mario 100mil?? were giving 14 mil to Suh...which would you rather have?
 
Was about what I expected. He was definitely going to get more than Watt off the strength that he was an unrestricted free agent.
 
i think the new tv contract is causing the cap to really increase in the next year or two, we are just going HAM a bit early to lock down a possible future HOFer!
 
It is all monopoly money these days. Wake, Grimes, and Albert will be gone in 2 years.
Hickey and Tannenbaum are laying the next cornerstone.
I approve of this forward thinking.
Lets face it, this mix of players we had from 2012-2014 couldn't get it done.

If so then it' smart to buy big now rather than wait two years when everybody is spending big IF you are getting the right guy. I suppose Suh is as close to a sure thing as you can get.

Bingo. Wake, Grimes, Wallace will be gone next year and give Miami 20 million more in cap..
 
its a qb contract and we don't have a big QB contract. Its gunna be interesting long term
 
For once we didn't pay a good player like a GREAT player. We paid a GREAT player like a GREAT player! I'm on board. It feels good to finally have a bonafide SUPERSTAR on the team again. It's been since JT and Ricky.
