I can accept that year one, but I would like to be better in year two.
Better drafting and better improvement via coaching of existing players.

Everyone would like to be better than that in year two, but better than 8-8 is a lot to ask.

It's nearly impossible to retool both lines, install two new systems, and developed a young QB to the point of being consistently good with minimal errors in two seasons.

Remember, defensively we are going to be running multiples, and that requires time to teach concepts, and responsibilities that most of these guys have never been exposed to, some of which will be counterintuitive to everything they have ever been coached to do.
 
I just saw an interview with Patrick Graham (YouTube).

He's awesome. Dude has personality.

Talking about "multiples", and doing whatever it takes.
 
Flores's branch of the coaching tree is either going to be Bill Walshian or Marvin Lewisian. That Pats staff got ransacked.
