Just realized that all this negative talk has clouded the truth from being seen. Right now, we only have one loss against our division. The Jets are 3-3, meaning we are one win against the Jets away from tying record wise, but leading them by having the tie breaker in division record.

Then, if we beat the Bills this weekend, then we would have tied them in division record...and would basically be beating them the second time we play them away from having a tie breaking better division record!

We play the Pats once more meaning that we can make up ground against them by a win there...so truth is that we are sooooo not out of it, and if we improve here on out, we could very well be in the middle of not just a definite wild card race, but a Bills struggle through one of these quarters from still being within reach of a division title.

right now, we are 2-4, but if we win against BUF and then the game after that, we would enter the half way point at 4-4. BUF could be 4-2 after losing to us and easily be one upset loss from 4-3 by the time we play them again! Do the math.

If we beat them the second time around we can tie them record wise and have a better division record at that point.

Now if we lose another one here and another there...and still continue to play well and win and win against our division...could end up with a 10-6 record and still win the division.

Even if we don't and lose to one of our division guys one more time, we could still be the wild card at 9-7. Remember the wins against SD and NE...and the 'we should/could have won' the HOU game and the JETS game.

Wow! We are still in the thick of things!

I hate to say this but we will be last in the division again. Our final record no better than 5-11. But a solid foundation to build on for the future!

yeah i thought we had that chance when we were 2-2, cuz i thought the team had woken up and this would be the team we see.. mostly the team that played the chargers... we just missedagainst an underachieving texans team... we got owned by the ravens... the defense can't tackle, and the runing game got stalled by those beasts of men in Balt..
were still a competetive team, and i think we will go 4-2 in the division this year, losing to the bills once.

what i have realized after 6 games though, is that with our secondary, short passing game, and bad tackling we can't go to the playoffs, no way.. we go 7-9 i think maybe 6-10 if it means better draft pciks.. although we're gonna try and win the last game of the season against the jets. cuz sparno wants to show the phins the jets suck and should be demolished every game.

we might not make the playoffs!!!! but we sure is **** will be better than 5-11!!!! we have the raiders, seahawks, and 49ers at home, and rams, and chiefs on the road!!!! pretty easy schedule if you ask me!!!!!

Talk like this needs to be reserved until after the Buffalo and Denver games I will drink to Koolaid after 2 weeks but 2 and 6 is looking more realistic

I dont think so.

When you consider that our only non division games left are vs. the AFC Worst and the NFC Worst, the two worst divisions in football, well you would have to think we can still win more than 3 more games. We have 6 games left vs them and 4 games left within the division. Plus, of those 2 divisions we play, we have already played the best team from each of those respective divisions.

I dont think its far fetched that we win at least 4 of those games. The chiefs are probably the worst team in the league and that eats up one of our roadies.

The Broncos D is anything but stellar, however their passing attack could definately do damage on us.

We host the Faiders who arent a pushover, but a winnable game. The 9ers and Seahawks at home should be wins. Heck, Seattle is already tanking it in for the year.

The rams are certainly playing better and that should be a tough road game. But, to think we are only winning 3 more games is setting the bar pretty low when you consider these things IMHO.

Main thing to watch out for with the Raiders is we don't know who will be coaching them when we meet.

That's alot of ifs! Let's see what we do against the Bills then if and or but the situation.

This game can definately break us if we lose and can be a big boost but not necessarily make us if we win.

If we beat the Bills then it is a possibility that we could get back in the hunt if we reel off some wins. However, a loss this Sunday really buries at 2-5 in a competitive division. If we lose, I say let's start getting Henne some reps.

remember, everyone in the division is pretty much playing the same teams. everyone has an easy schedule down the stretch.

winning divisional games its what its gonna come down to.

the bills are 5-1 and not 4-1 btw.

the fins just lost 2 very winnable games...u guys aint out of it yet but those were 2 games the fins will regret

agreed my friend.. ppl are trippin balls over our last 2 losses, but i know what kind of a team we are, and we could have easily won those 2 games... if this team can come together once again and hold that out we still have a chance

just to let u know the rams aren't a bad team...they got rid of linehan and with haslett their 2-0 and beat washington at washington and beatdown dallas...bulger is back in and i personally want no parts of the rams...ill give you seattle and the chiefs but the raiders game will be close...that game vs san fran scares me because they can score points and if they dont turn the ball over we will get blown out...san fran has played some tough teams and the difference has been them turning the ball over via int and i dont think we have the playmakers in our secondary to capitalize...frank gore is a monster and with singletary as their new coach maybe he'll tell that moron mike martz to run the football
