They base it through simulations.

Alot of the top team are NFC teams as well.

According to those rankings, we're the second best team in the AFC, behind the Titans.

Looking at the rest of the teams, I would have to say it's relatively accurate. Besides our ranking, the only ones I would disagree with ALOT would be DEN, JAX, and Balt.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that the writer is not a jets fan

We are way too high. We beat two teams, but who did we really beat? The Patriots have a good record playing against scrubs, and the Chargers are below .500. I like the wins, but lets not go out and buy playoff tickets yet.

I trust Sparano and Parcells to not let the players get ahead of themselves, though.
