I really just want to see some nastiness we know that we're lacking talent in the LB corps and secondary, just want to see these guys playing their asses off win or lose. First part of this season they literally looked like they couldn't care less, that is embarrassing

Yes, we do have a "new" dc. However, he is coyles good friend and deciple and has already let it be known that he would not be changing the defense much, "especially on the d-line" (where its most needed). Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
3 d-linemen who cant play the run. (will they ever replace mitchell with philips?).

Not being a bubble burster, but, the bubble has already been burst. No coach can make a winning defense with those circumstances. I dont know whos decision it was to put a coyle clone as dc, but whoever made that call blew it.
I am a Dan Campbell fan and would love to see him as full time coach with a 3 year deal in place at seasons end. However, i think playoffs are only thing (completely unfare and un realistic) he will be judged on by boss ross and milk shake mike. MM i am sure has his ex jet flunky lined up to push down ross's throat.
The ONLY thing, and i repeat, the ONLY thing that will get campbell another year is if Bill Parcells intervenes with Boss Ross and TRUMP's (not the next u.s. president trump, the trump as in a surprize or unexpected takeover or decision) Milk Shake Mike's coach choice.
Campbell is a parcells guy all the way and bill loves 2 things, an underdog and tough guys. Campbell is both. And i think, if parcells were asked in a sit down with a beer conversation who he would back, campbell or manzweeni, it would be campbell hands down. Unless Ross has already accepted MM's recomendation for coach, this will be an epic battle behind the scene's and i would LOVE to have a ticket for that show.
