They just reported our captains will be Chad, Holliday and Ferguson. I was expecting Joey to be a Captain or Ricky, but I guess Ricky would not want the role.
WQAM report that Pennington, Holliday and Ferguson are your Captains.

I understand picking those players. I have nothing against them i like them i think they are the verteran guys and the best choices to be captain if it matters.

Ricky will get Captain at some point but so will Ronnie. They have to be cognizant of making sure they give both that honor about equally.
Ferg and Holliday make the most sense on D. Penny makes the most sense on O. After what Porter pulled a year ago, he doesn't deserve that designation. He has more to prove than Holliday and Ferg.

how on earth would anyone ever expect ricky to be a captain?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!! when has he ever showed leadership qualities.. he just about exibits the exact opposite.. does anyone remember that he screwed us over?

I am ok with those players as our captains.
Pennington was the only real big surprise. I just thought he hadn't been on this team long enough to be a captain, however, he is the QB and if you take a look around on offense, the only other player considered for that role would be Ricky or Ronnie.

Pennington has stepped in and showed so far he can be a captain. Plus it gives him extra confidence and the Jets get to look at him from that standpoint. Shows how much we appreciate him. I read that Pennington was asked his input in offensive meeting as far as the play calling. Yep he deserves to be a captain.

are you talking about the captains that go out for the coin toss...or the captains who get the 'C' on their jersey?
he wouldnt? last i checked he is our number one running back this year. you would like your best players to also exhibit leadership qualities. it seems the three captains do exactly that and are good players

I always thougt that the guys who wear the 'C' are the same for the entire season (maybe with a few exceptions) while the guys who go out for the coin toss may be different every game
