Ok i know i'm going to get FLAMED for this but i'm sorry it makes absolute perfect sense and was supposed to happen at one point anyway so what better time than now?

i'm going to start off by saying that Ronnie Brown is a tremendous athelete. The fact that he's even suiting up for week one amazes me. It's only been less than a year and he's already back in the lineup and will probably see game time tomorrow. Thats pretty impressive, considering its an ACL injury.

I just wanted to get some opinions from the readers for the sake that Camarillo is our other starting WR, and that makes me rather uncomfortable. If either Hagan or Wilford would have panned out i probably wouldnt even have started this thread but i see the whole WR situation as a total crisis.

Everyone knows that Brown can run. Not everyone knows that he can catch almost as good as he can run. Ricky has made tremendous strides (small hands lol) but still he's not as solid of hands as Brown is.

So wouldnt you rather have somone like brown in on 3, 4 , and 5 wide sets rather than wilford or hagan? Sure as hell is a no brainer to me i just want to hear what you guys think.

I've never really had much confiedence in anyone on the current receiving corps besides Ginn, and I've always trusted Brown(and Ricky for that matter) Now that we have two of the better running backs in the NFL ATM, I wouldn't see why Ronnie can't play back-up WR when Ricky is healthy.

I tghink you may see Brown out wide alittle, but from motion out of a two back set with ricky. Put them both on the field, send one out as a wideout, and you could do lots of things with that.

i could definatly see Ronnie being used as a Brian Westbrook type player, especialy with our lack of recievers

brown will definitely get alot of catches out of the backfield.... and he should definitely be spread wide in some situations..

i think its even possible he could lead the team in receptions if ginn doesnt take that #1 role like we expect.
i'll go with 2nd on the team with 65 rec.

great hands does not necessarily translate to good route running but RB should never be off the field in my opinion... Line RB up and let him create mismatches... let him block for RW... just keep on the field if he is actually healthy

I like a WR that has good hands and Camarillo has proven his worth...Hagan has never impressed me. I think Wilford will eventually take over at number 2 but I don't understand how they have him listed at the same position as Ginn? At one time they were both projected starters so this doesn't make sense tio me. If Hagan doesn''t do something in the beginning of the season...he should be cut while we look for someone else or just to give the young guys some time. I would like to see Armstrong as he runs a 4.1 something 40 but he is behind London now and I don't know much about London. I know we got Gadsden out of the Arena League so AA may have a chance. It would be nice if Terry Glenn got healthy!
