The Fins should land one of these guys now that Stallworth and Washington are off the board. They both have been more productive then Washington but are not blessed with the height Washington was. McDonald and Curtis are built the same way and have 4 years in the league. However Curtis is 3 years older. Personally I have not been able to watch the Rams play but from what I see they are both speedy guys. Curtis stats obviously make him the better canadite and he was higher on the depth chart then McDonald. So if the Rams high octane offense play him more then it may suggest he his the better of the two. I'd take either to fill Welkers spot, plus they seem more speedy. Fact is Chambers will get his butt in gear once again and Booker (if he is not cut) is a solid number 2. One of these WR for the slot and Hagan at 4. Draft another in the early rounds to work up to contribute.

LIONS LAND McDONALD
Adam Schefter of the NFL Network reports that the Lions have agreed to terms with receiver Shaun McDonald.
McDonald, formerly of the Rams, signed a two-year, $2.8 million deal with $1.5 million in guaranteed money.
Drafted by Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz when Martz had final say over the roster as coach of the Rams, McDonald has appeared in 56 career games, and has 106 catches for 1,215 yards and four touchdowns.
Last year, Martz lured former Rams receiver Mike Furrey to Detroit. Furrey responded with a breakout season, and has since signed a long-term deal.

i'd like for us to draft a WR with one of our second rounders, seeing how deep the WR talent in this draft is. i would also be very happy if we somehow traded up and got CJ.

Glad McDonald is gone.. hopefully, Curtis is next.

I just don't want them to sign one of these backup WR's with the mentality of thinking we're set. I hope we're screwed at WR come draft day, so that we are locked in to picking one at #9 or #40.

Curtis would be a waste of a signing as all he is = #3 WR.

Forget all these backups, man.. go draft one with one of those top picks.

Yes, we can find a speedy, possession reciever in the draft.

The Pats are gonna have to drop Gaffney or Caldwell.... might as pick one of them up....

Sure we could fin done in the draft, but guess what. We need a QB, at the top pick, pray to God it's Quinn. And deffinately some O- Lineman. At least one good one. And we will hafta go to the draft for both of those positions,QB and O-Line since we wont land any good ones in FA. IMO, our recievers are good enough. We fill up Welker's position and get a solid QB, with an upgrade or two in O-Line and we're good.

We are not getting Quinn... Browns, Texans &Vikings will get him.. heck even Lions are a possibility. I dont see us trading up... for him.

Browns, and Vikings sent their HC, GM and owners to watch Quinn on his workout....

Id like to see us sign A. Bryant.....as WR
