IMO right now it has to go as follows:

Chambers
Booker
Welker
Hagan
Gibson

right now IMO thats our best 5...with the difference between 3-5 very very slim...

i would make it chambers, booker, hagan, gibson, vick.....i love the possibility of having 3 great young wrs on this team. i hope welker is traded no offense. i just see things that way. no offense welker fans

Welker is going to make this team as a return man.If we only keep 5 wr Welker will be 1 of them.I dont think Vick makes the team.

If in fact Welker doesn't make it, I hope we can trade him and get something in return. At this point I don't think he'll be around opening day.

Im sorry man, but as a receiver, Vick has not made one notable play. I like the kid, but hes running out of time. If he makes the team, it means hes really showing stuff in practice that we're not seeing in the games. However, the saying goes, you perform in the game like you do on the practice field.

wes will be there for sure there is no doubt in my mind about that one. why the hell would u not want him or want him to get traded???? i just dont understand

Welker is expendable. He is a good wr and return man i just think it be wise to get him out of here for some ol or secondary help.

No team is going to give us much for Welker. We would be better off keeping him IMO and hes not expendable.

yeah exactly how good a player do u think that welker would warrant in a trade it would just be a total waste of a damn fine player and very hard worker IMO, the player we would recieve would either be rubbish or no better than anyone we already have, bottom line welker stays and trading him is a bad bad idea

Welker is making the team, He's to valuable not to. The guy even kicks fieldgoals. At reciever he just makes plays when he get the ball thrown to him.Cant remember when I've seen him drop a pass in a game.

I think giving up Welker would sacrifice the return game. He was among the game's top kick returners and don't think you should sacrifice one aspect of your team for the sake of upgrading another. I do think a WR corps of Chambers, Booker, Welker, Hagan and Gibson would be great. Based on what I've researched, I think Vick and Aromashadu will either play in NFL Europe or the Practice Squad. They have NFL talent but there aren't enough spots on the roster and those aforementioned players above I feel are better.

I couldnt agree more.

Excess Receivers
August 20
Miami Herald : "The Dallas Cowboys, in search of a No. 3 and No. 4 receiver, sent a scout after contacting the Dolphins about available receivers during the past couple of weeks. New England, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Carolina, Cleveland, Green Bay, New Orleans, Buffalo, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Oakland and the Jets also were scheduled to send scouts to write reports on both teams."
