Two NFL front office men told the National Football Post's Dan Pompei last fall that Dolphins undrafted rookie WR Jeff Fuller was a first-round talent.

Fuller had no worse than second-round grades from scouts entering his senior season. He dropped far too many passes in 2011, however, and struggled at the Senior Bowl before suffering a stress fracture in his foot. Fuller will have to rebound in a big way, but he definitely has skill level to make the Dolphins.

Seems good news just keeps rolling in. I read the same story in the Miami Herald. We actually have a pretty good group.

His measurables sound just like BM. Recall, BM was not an elite prospect coming out of UCF, just a guy with potential.

Yeah but those drops are big. 28 his senior season?! He really needs to improve his hands because as it stands right now, he makes Ted Ginn look like Reggie Wayne

Is this the same Fuller that came to us as a Undrafted Free Agent? Or is it totally another one?

Well, you do have to fill the page every day with something. And I'm sure if you throw 40-50 names against the wall, at least a couple will stick. And then after people no longer remember the 32 players who you never hear of again, you can pull up the 3 that made it and say"look at what a bright boy I am!".

and suddenly, with the same QB, but REAL Defenses up his arse, he might turn into a Pro Bowler like BMarsh?....jeez

Umm okay :idk:

I'm feeling pretty good about our WR corps.  These rookies are an intriguing bunch.  I wouldn't expect any of them to develop into a superstar, but I can see how they MIGHT turn into a Packers/Giants type of group.

Marlon Moore and Roberto Wallace are gonna have to show some real growth to not get cut.

I don't care if a guy is 6'6" and weigh's 240 and runs a 4.2 forty; If he can't catch the football he isn't a WR. Receivers who can't receive aren't really receivers by the very definition of the word.

Guy needs to go to the practice squad in case his drops are a mental thing, which is actually rare IMO. Most of these guys who drop a lot of passes just lack natural talent and hand eye cooridination. 90% of them will never become reliable.

Except for fumbles, there is nothing more unpleasant in football than watching WR's drop the ball on crucial downs, especially at the end of close games.

There is no way this guy is going to get a roster spot ahead of Legedu Naanee or Rishard Matthews, and Wallace's status at blocking and ST's is elite, and he is faster and quicker. Ex. Wallace's 10yd is 1.47(elite), and Fuller's is 1.61(dismal for a WR)

Gates will obviously make the roster because he isn't PS eligible and is still loaded with potential.

Unless there are injuries, Fuller is PS bound.

Everyone can talk sh*t on Fuller because he's an UDFA, but NOOOOOO one wanted to hear it when I was pointing out the painfully obvious with Clyde Gates last season. If he pans out I will HAPPILY eat crow, but his rawness really showed last year IMO. He's a runner not a receiver.
