WR Mike Wallace is he worth

Can't trade for a guy who isn't currently under contract. and until Mike signs his tender, he is not officially under contract.

And for crying out loud .... the "how many times does our HC have to say we dont need a number 1 receiver blah blah blah"....

Joe Philbin's offense has been running with Aaron Rodgers.... and Greg Jennings.... who is a number 1 receiver any way you slice it on any offense in the league.
When we have a top 3 quarterback, than maybe, just maybe you don't need a number 1 receiver.... but wake up people. Philbin had a top WR in this league, it wasnt just the magical cure all WCO.... lol
 
Not gonna happen. No way Scotland would give up any picks for him.
 
Of course he's worth it. He's one of the best playmakers in the entire league, and only 25. We have the worst WR's in the league. A high pick on a WR is going to happen regardless. I'll take the proven elite playmaker, thanks.

If I was sold on one of our QBs then I would absolutely trade our first for Wallace... But I'm not so I think we need that possible top 5 pick.

Pitt has 2 more excellent WR's who will be FA's next year, they want to tag Wallace and then next year pick which out of the 3 they want to keep. Wallace is worth his asking price. Early 20's, blazing speed, puts up big numbers
 
He's definitely worth it. He's young and a playmaker, which we severely lack right now.
 
isin't he a character issue guy though? My friend is a die hard pitt fan and swears he has no off field issues, but I'm not buying it.

He wants the same dough as Larry Fitzgerald. He's good but definitely not worth that. Fitzgerald does EVERYTHING, all Wallace does is stretch the the field.
 
Yeah and once guys lose there seperation speed they are DONEEEEEEE. Ala Randy Moss, who will be a disaster this year in san fran. Speed guys when they get old they get slow, lose a step and can't seperate. Only reason Moss got a shot is becasue if he sucks they just cut him and don't really take a lose.

Thats not they got rid of Marshall

They got rid of him because he isn't a team first player, he is a me player. Nothing to do with him dominating passes
