I'll probably take some heat for this but when the dust settles I hope the wide receiver situation pans out like this:

Starters: Chambers/Boston
3rd: Welker
4th: Booker
5th: Gilmore

I love the idea of Welker in the slot and Boston and Chambers are both deep threats. IMO, it makes absolutely the most sense, but Boston still has to prove he is healthy and ready to go.

Thoughts?

No Boston wont start and Welker will not be number three defiantly not Booker/Chambers are the starters Boston is 3rd Gilmore is 4 and DT is 5 Welker is our KR/PR

i think 3rd is asking too much of Welker. plus i have booker as the 2nd WR if the season started today. i also have gilmore ahead of welker..

but i guess we will both know come week 1.

i don't like DT though, i like your list as far as he goes. but dare i say i would have him equal too welker, i better not, i may get in to trouble if i say that.

If Boston is truely back and ready to go, I just don't see him playing behind Booker who is not a great athlete. As for Welker, I love this guy and I think he could make a huge difference. The lineup everyone is suggesting is just the same status quo. If I was coach thats what I would do. I don't care what we payed for booker or that he started last year, he is a possesion type wide receiver, the 3 guys I have above him can without a doubt do alot more with the ball after they catch it, and IMO thats what it is all about.

Starters: Chambers/Booker

hahah
As much as i love Welker there is no way he is goign to beat Booker
Booker has gone to the Pro-Bowl but who knows if Welker can play very good in Pre-Season i could def see him being a solid 4th WR

If you put Boston and Chambers on the outside, who do you double team? Hard to say isn't it? If we have Chambers and Booker starting who do you double team? easy... chambers becuase booker is not a threat to hurt you with a big play.

ok, now that I think about it even more I would go with a 1 back set(obviously not all the time) but I would love to have chambers/boston/welker/mcmichael/ronnie brown all in the game at the same time.

Booker just doesnt excite me in anyway, yes he is solid and will catch the ball, but it almost seems like settling for a girl because she has a nice personality ...lol

Come on guys isnt this obvious.
1. Chambers
2. Boston
3. Booker(slot)
4. Gilmore
5. Welker(slot sometimes)
What I think is we should be very agresive this year and line up with 5 recievers a lot. This way we would be unstopable. We probably have the best five in my opinion.

Chambers and Boston start, Booker as #3. After that, don't know. It depends on if DT starts actually catching balls in the game instead of just in practice.;)
