What do you guys think the phins should do about the wide reciever position? We need a big time reciever. I love what camarillo did this season and i believe in ginn and bess but thats not going to get us deep in the playoffs. I was hoping we could maybe get boldin or braylon edwards but i dont know how likely that is. If it came down to it I guess we could settle for heyward bey but I would much rather have a more proven reciever than another young guy. What do you guys think?

I have no problem drafting another receiver. Ginn and Camm will be not as young. I mean sure if u can get Boldin thats fine but a guy like Hixon is no better than what we have.

I am more in favor of going for a young guy. Boldin would be great, but a trade for him is likely going to involve multiple picks with one of them being a first rounder. If we can get Boldin for just one pick, I am for it. However, a 1st and a 3rd? Forget about it.

There are a few guys I think have the potential to become that coveted number one type receiver. Nicks and Britt I think are the real deal. However, to get one of those guys, we would likely have to use a 1st round pick on them. I am not so sure Parcells and Ireland will take a receiver that high. Ramses Barden would be a nice mid round pick.

By the way, welcome to FinHeaven!

Jamarko Simmons brings to the table what the Dolphins don't have in a WR.

Significant size and power running after the catch.

And we could could probably get him with our 5th!!!!!!!! This is a true draft steal in the making, a genuine sleeper.

Defintely hit the link to video on the page this link takes you to.

whats so great about Hixon?

I doubt we'll get Boldin or Edwards considering they want so much for those guys.

I dont have a problem with drafting another wr. Look at last year...Bess went undrafted and wound up having the 2nd most catches by a rookie all-time behind Wayne Chrebet. Parcells knows what hes doing, i trust him.

i think we are better at the WR position then we have been in many years...i know that isnt sayin much but come on...FILL OTHER POSITIONS FIRST!!!

i dont understand all the crazyness about gettin a #1 receiver...its pretty much impossible to tell with Penny behind center...

give us any kind of deep threat QB...peyton, brady, rothlesburger, cutler, warner, romo, etc...(and hopefully henne) and ginn is a frikin pro bowler

I like the idea of getting dominique hixon if the rumor comes true.

why? he is only a marginal WR and is nothing to get excited about. He most likely wouldnt be more than a 3rd WR on this team and someone that you certainly, would not want to count on for anymore than that.

i think all these WR threads are created without thought. if your QB cant throw past 40yds, then doesnt matter who ur reciever is, that QB will target the possesion recievers. TEs and RBs. sorry maybe wait til henne is QB and then Ginn can show his athleticism and the WR threads will all be abolished.

1st off welcome to the site.
I would like to get one of the big young guys like Nicks or britt.
THey would help with size and the rest of our WR core is good. We still need that big #1 type guy.

No kidding... Thankfully we have two chads who have proven to be able to throw past that distance... I mean ****, Chad averaged more yards per completion last year than Peyton did... Although even if lou ferigno tried throwing the ball past 40 yards 5 times every game, his arm would be toasted too. I definately agree with you, many threads and posts are created without thought

I hope we get one of these guys: Nicks, Britt, Barden or Johnny Knox.

I really like Barden. 6-6 and good speed. I would be very happy if they got him in the 3rd.
