Instead of drafting Pat White and Patrick Turner, some WRs we could have drafted instead..

Mike Wallace
- 6'0", 200 lbs.
- 40 Time: 4.33
- Drafted: Round 3 (84), Pittsburgh Steelers
- 2009 Production (after 5 games): 16 catches, 246 yds, 15.4 avg.

Johnny Knox
- 6'0", 180 lbs.
- 40 Time: 4.34
- Drafted: Round 5 (140), Chicago Bears
- 2009 Production (after 4 games): 14 catches, 190 yds, 13.6 avg.

If we had done that, our offense would be unstoppable for many years to come.

btw, Johnny Knox also returns kickoffs, and has a 35.8 yd return avg so far (he already returned one for a TD).

shoulda woulda coulda. that and a dollar will get you a small cup of bad coffee

Same can be said about everything posted on a message board.

It's not like anything we discuss here is actually going to make a difference in the real world.

We're just here to speculate about things the Dolphins should do, or should have done. Just for fun.

Would like a side of French cries with your Wahburger? Seriously, these revisionist history threads accomplish nothing in terms of a productive discussion. Should've picked Boldin instead of Moore, should've picked Brees instead of Fletcher. Would've could've, should've. Let the past be the past.

As long as it's entertaining, then it's productive.

It's not like you guys are forwarding threads to Tony Sparano, to influence his decisions.

Hey you are just going to miss on some of these guys. Plus we are a different team than the type some of these guys are producing on. Lets face it baby we are the #1 rushing offence in the NFL baby. That means the passing game is going to suffer. Plus take into consideration the short ball was Penningtons speciality we may start seeing some different result with Henne at the helm with our current recievers. Hartline and Ginn are not that slow and Greg C. was catching some longer balls before the leg injury from Penne. So with a new QB who brings a different style perhaps some our WR's might start looking better down the field than they have in the past. I know Ginn did for at least 1 moment this past Monday night.

what? we should have drafted 100 wide receivers or we should have hired a psychic?

Those two players have played a total of 5 games (4 in the case of Knox) and you're acting like they would change the corse of the Dolphins franchise forever. How about the fact that each team runs a completely different offense? So you put a player like Knox or Wallace in our offense and what says they would produce like they do on their respective teams? Coulda Woulda Shoulda might work for drafts 3-4 years ago, but are you seriously talking about a draft that only happened around six months ago?

Hartline and Ginn are not that slow

Yeah, I'm really hoping Hartline pans out. He was a deep threat in college and preseason. He'll never be a consistent burner in the NFL, but if he & Ginn can stretch the field a bit, that would be great.

Im just happy we got Ronnie instead of Cadillac.

Coming out of college, both Ronnie and Cadillac looked great. Both suffered serious knee injuries in 2007. Lucky for us, Ronnie has recovered 100%, while Cadillac has not.

I really beleive it will happen with Harline and his sticky hands at least we will see more intermediate routes open up. Ginn I am more hopefull not that he can't get open just catching, fighting for and holding onto the ball

Remember when we should have drafted Quinn?

Neither do I.

some WR's mature faster than others

also depends on who is on your roster, we have many solid vets to beat out.

Lets give Turner a chance to learn in his first year
