WTF? Ike Taylor not fined for Pat White hit.

If it was our guy laying the opposing quarterback out, would you be complaining?

It was a clean hit, it was OBVIOUS he wasn't trying to take a malicious blow on Pat, so I don't know what your gripe is. Hell, I even remember clearly he got TRIPPED which caused the contact to be worse.

But they will call that BS on Camarillo AND fine him?

Then why did they fine Wilson earlier in the season for hitting a WR with the helmet? So you can hit a runner but not a WR?

officiating rules are suspect in the NFL! lets just count our blessings that its not as horrible as the NBA!!!!

BS, bottom line was that it was helmet to helmet contact, which isn't allowed in the NFL. Don't believe intent is a required element for the infraction to take place.

As someone noted earlier, when you compare that to Cam getting fined it's a complete f****** joke.

It is what it is, we can't change the fact. Do I think it was a bull**** call on the Cam penalty, yes I do. Do I think Taylor intended for helmet to helmet contact on White, no I do not. I think if White had not been tripped White would have been hit by Taylors shoulder.

Hit was clean......why not push for rules now that eliminate hitting any runner going towards the sideline and further pussify the NFL worse than it is already????

It's not a hard hitting tackler's fault that White is a runt who can't take a hit and will never make it at the pro level....It was a HUGE mistake to take him where we did and he will soon be listed on the Fins all time boneheaded draft mistakes list...a list that grows bigger EVERY DAMN YEAR!

the NFL is a complete joke..

I guarantee you, that exact helmet to helmet hit on Tom Brady would have resulted in at least a 3 game suspension and at least 100grand fine.

That seems to be what he's saying. Helmet to helmet on a defenseless receiver is different than helmet to helmet on a runner. The runner has as much chance to deliver the blow as the defender.

Have to agree with the others, recall the Boldin knockout last year from the Jets defender. Both were in midair(so couldnt be avoided) and another defender knocked Q into the safety, thus knocking him out. Result? 1 game suspension and 50k fine to the Jets safety.

Goodell doesnt care if its an accident or not, and certainly doesnt care if its on purpose(evidence: Matt Light punching Channing Crowder in the face and BOTH getting fined with no suspension to Light). To me, this is just another example of how the league isnt going to go with the precedent they set and will instead pick and choose depending on public outcry.
